Very few complete or near complete sets for sale exist in such good condition due to their popularity. New owner will find much joy in these books. There are 18 volumes in 9 double volume books. 1 book is missing which would contain Vol 17 & 18. Books edited by Sir J. A. Hammerton. This special edition in 9 double volumes was issued by Allied Newspapers, Ltd., in association with The Educational Book Co. Ltd. Date of publication is unknown — guessing before 1950s;  possibly 1940s or 1930s?  Each book weighs approximately 650g for a total of 6.5kg.
