This English edition of Manifesto of the Communist Party (published in 1975, second printing in China) is a reproduction of the 1888 translation by Samuel Moore, made from the original German text of 1848 and edited by Frederick Engels.
The volume includes Engels’ annotations for the English edition of 1888 and the German edition of 1890, along with all the authors’ prefaces to various editions. The last preface is reprinted, with some changes in translation, from earlier English editions. Footnotes and endnotes are based on the German and Chinese editions.
Condition: Used, Good. A few underlined passages on pages 11–14. Otherwise clean and sound.
