This is a gem of a book for both its content and its form. This would make for a very lovely gift for any fans of literature, Emerson, philosophy; or poetry. Published in 1876. This is the 1903 Edition. Published, electrotyped and printed by Houghton Mifflin Co.'s Riverside Press of Cambridge, Mass., 357 pages. Gilt edge on top is still in great condition. Gilt heading in cover and spine also still good. Centenary Edition with a biographical introduction and notes by Edward Waldo Emerson and a general index. Volume III. Condition: Excellent for 121 year old book. Pages inside are excellent and without marks or damage. Good quality paper. And binding works well with no loose leafs.
