The volumes are pamphlet sized and the first 4 volumes have some exercises pencil markings (which can be erased) but have been left in for authenticity. All volumes are in very good shape (see images) in staple bound wrappers with no loose leafs. Slipcase enclosed box is worn but holding well although one corner is loose (see image 2).
This is an interesting curiosity. An antique 1940 box set that was evidently very popular as it was reprinted 5 times between 1930 and 1940. Published by The Better-Speech Institute of America, Chicago.
