Like all of Durant’s works, this a joy to read and well regarded for both content and style. Highly recommended to anyone interested in “A History of European Civilization from 1789 to 1815,” covering the French Revolution, Napoleon’s rise and fall, and the reshaping of Europe. Well made book, hard cover, sewn binding. Entire series is very good. This is Volume 11 of The Story of Civilization series.
